Amanda Hoyt

 Amanda was born on August 8, 1996 in Hammond, La. She was diagnosed with "epilepsy" at the age of 2.  After 6 neurologists and 9 failed anti-seizure medications, she was finally diagnosed with HH right after her 4th birthday.

 Amanda was very fortunate and blessed to become the 15th person (and one of the youngest) to undergo HH Surgery at Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia by Professor Jeffrey Rosenfeld on February 12, 2001.  She has been seizure-free since.
